Milan--March 1--Italy's producer confidence index in January fell to 100 from December's 102 mirroring a modest slowdown in the pace of expansion of business activity, according to a survey released Thursday by Istituto di Studi e Analisi Economica (ISAE). The survey shows that expectations regarding demand and the general economy over the next 3-4 months point to an improvement in sentiment while selling prices are seen decelerating slightly.
