USA: Week Ahead - July 21st.
Next week, market attention will remain focused on trade developments and any potential agreements between the US and its key trading partners. The US earnings season will move into full swing, with major companies including Alphabet, Tesla, Verizon, Coca-Cola, T-Mobile, IBM set to report their quarterly results. On the economic front, key US data releases include flash S&P Global PMIs, durable goods orders, existing and new home sales. Globally, monetary policy decisions from the ECB, the Central Bank of the Russian Federation, and the Central Bank of Turkey will be in focus. Markets will also be paying close attention to a wide range of international indicators, including flash PMI figures for the Eurozone, Germany, Japan, India, the UK, and France; GfK consumer confidence readings for Germany and the UK; the Ifo business climate index in Germany; UK retail sales; and the Tokyo CPI report.
