9 July 2026, 14:57  Denmark: Trade Surplus Narrows in May.

Denmark’s seasonally adjusted trade surplus narrowed to DKK 28.9 billion in May 2026 from a downwardly revised DKK 29.2 billion in April. Exports ticked up to 1.3% month-over-month to DKK 189.3 billion, as a 5.8% increase in services exports more than offset a 1.6% decline in goods exports. Imports climbed 1.8% to DKK 160.4 billion, driven by a 5.7% rise in goods imports despite a 2.5% decrease in services imports. For the January-May of 2026, Denmark recorded a trade surplus of DKK 144.4 billion, up from DKK 124.4 billion over the same period in the previous year.
