Industrial manufactures also advanced 31.4%, supported mainly by chemicals and related products, as well as base metals and metal products. Exports of fuels and energy climbed 31.1%, as higher international prices more than offset lower shipment volumes. In contrast, capital goods fell 8.0%, parts and accessories for capital goods declined 9.4%, and motor vehicle imports dropped 10.6%.
