Producer prices in Poland rose by 1.7% year-on-year in June 2026, slightly above market expectations for a 1.6% increase but easing from a 2.4% rise in the previous month. The latest reading marked the fourth consecutive month of annual producer inflation, though at a slower pace, as price pressures moderated across most major industrial sectors. The slowdown was driven largely by electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply, where prices fell 0.9% after a 0.8% decline in May. Producer inflation also eased in mining and quarrying (2.4% vs 5.6%), manufacturing (2.0% vs 2.6%), and water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities (1.8% vs 2.0%). On a monthly basis, producer prices declined by 0.2% in June, following unchanged readings in the preceding period.
