Average hourly earnings for all employees on US private nonfarm payrolls rose by 13 cents, or 0.3%, over a month to $37.64 in June 2026, the same pace as in May and matching market forecasts. In June, average hourly earnings of private-sector production and nonsupervisory employees rose by 7 cents, or 0.2%, to $32.38. Over the year, average hourly earnings have increased by 3.5%, following a 3.4% rise in May and also in line with market estimates.
