Spain's annual inflation rate was unrevised at 3.2% in June 2026, unchanged from May and April. Upward pressure came primarily from prices of electricity (6% vs -5.5% in May) and gas (0.8% vs -9.7%), partly offset by a moderation in motor fuels such as diesel (14.1% vs 23.9%) and petrol (1.3% vs 7.5%). Meanwhile, the core inflation rate eased to 2.9% from an upwardly revised 3.0% in May, matching the earlier estimates. The EU-harmonized annual rate stood at 3.6%, matching May's reading, in line with preliminary estimates.
