9 June 2026, 10:13  Denmark: Manufacturing Output Falls in April.

Denmark’s manufacturing production fell 1.1% month-on-month in April 2026, following a downwardly revised 8.3% growth in the previous month. Output declined in food, beverages, and tobacco (-2.7% vs 5.5% in March), wood and paper products (-2.1% vs 2.1%), pharmaceutical products (-2.5% vs 15%), electronics (-15.8% vs 37%), rubber, plastic, glass, and concrete products (-1% vs 15.5%), and transportation (-2.2% vs 19.5%). At the same time, activity moderated for textile, clothing, and leather products (2.4% vs 9.5%). Meanwhile, production increased for metal and metal products (5% vs 0.4%), while production recovered for petroleum and chemical products (1.3% vs -0.9%). On a seasonally adjusted annual basis, manufacturing activity jumped 13% in April, easing from a revised 21.1% gain in the preceding period.
