The annual inflation rate in Poland eased to 2.5% year-on-year in June 2026 from 3.1% in the previous month, marking the lowest reading since February, according to a preliminary estimate. The slowdown was largely driven by a 0.3% decline in prices for food and non-alcoholic beverages, while inflation for electricity, gas, and other fuels, increased 4.8%, and for fuels and lubricants for private means of transport, which rose 5.3%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices fell 0.5% in June, following a 0.3% decline in May and marking the second consecutive monthly decrease.
