The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic rose to 106.5 in June 2026 from 103.4 in the previous month, recovering after two consecutive declines. Expectations for the general economic situation over the next 12 months improved, as the share of consumers anticipating a deterioration in the domestic economy decreased. Sentiment regarding personal finances also strengthened, with more households expecting an improvement in their financial situation over the coming year, while the proportion of respondents reporting their current financial situation as worse than a year earlier remained unchanged. Meanwhile, the share of consumers not planning major purchases over the next 12 months declined slightly compared to May. Concerns about rising prices and further increases in unemployment were broadly unchanged from the previous month.
