22 June 2026, 10:38  Denmark: Consumer Morale Improves to 3-Month High.

Denmark’s consumer confidence rose to -14.0 in June 2026 from -19.8 in May, reaching its highest level since March. Consumers were less pessimistic about the overall economy, both regarding the current situation (-21.8 vs -35.9 in May) and expectations for the next 12 months (-18.7 vs -26.7). Households’ assessments of their own finances also strengthened, for both the past year (-10.1 vs -13.6) and the year ahead (-5.3 vs -9.5). However, sentiment toward making major purchases deteriorated slightly (-13.9 vs -13.2). Among indicators outside the headline index, price expectations eased for both the present (37.2 vs 44.0) and the next 12 months (29.9 vs 40.8), while concerns about unemployment over the coming year also moderated (17.8 vs 22.2).
