10 June 2026, 13:21  Slovenia: Industrial Output Hits Over 1-Year High.

Industrial output in Slovenia increased 4.4% year-on-year in April 2026, following a downwardly revised 2.4% rise in the previous month. This marked the highest reading since August 2024. Production rebounded in electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply (1.2% vs -15.8% in March), while manufacturing continued to grow, albeit at a softer pace (4.9% vs 5.2%). Meanwhile, output in mining and quarrying slumped further to a seven-month low of -35.2%, from -15.9% previously. By industrial grouping, output rebounded for intermediate goods (2.5% vs -4.4%), while growth slowed for capital goods (8.0% vs 11.2%) and consumer goods (5.0% vs 8.4%). Within consumer goods, durable goods output fell at a faster pace (-9.9% vs -3.6%), while growth in non-durable goods eased (5.1% vs 10.8%). On a monthly basis, industrial activity rose 0.3% in April, easing from 4.0% in March.
