9 April 2026, 15:06  Denmark: Smallest Trade Surplus in 9 Months.

Denmark’s seasonally adjusted trade surplus narrowed to DKK 22.2 billion in February 2026 from a downwardly revised DKK 29.4 billion in the previous month, marking the lowest surplus since May 2025. Exports declined 3.7% month-on-month to DKK 167.9 billion, reflecting contractions in both goods (-3.1%) and services (-4.6%). Total exports of goods and services to the US stood at DKK 25 billion, down DKK 0.7 billion from January. Exports of goods decreased by DKK 1 billion to DKK 17 billion, while services exports rose by DKK 0.3 billion to DKK 8 billion. Meanwhile, imports edged up 0.5% to DKK 145.7 billion, supported by higher imports in services (2.2%), even as goods imports declined (-1%). For the January-March period, exports fell 2.6%, while imports decreased 1.1%.
