The registered unemployment rate in Poland was unchanged at 6.1% in March 2026, remaining at its highest level since September 2021, in line with market expectations. The number of unemployed persons decreased by 5.1 thousand from the previous month to 949.8 thousand. Women constituted 49.1% of the registered unemployed persons. The majority of unemployed individuals were still not entitled to unemployment benefits, representing 86.8% of the total. In March 2025, the jobless rate was 0.7 percentage points lower at 5.4%.
