The indicator remained below its long-term average of +0.5, as confidence weakened in accommodation and catering (3.7 vs 8.1) and information and communication (10.7 vs 11.7), while conditions deteriorated further in industrial processing (-5.2 vs -3.2) and transportation and storage (-3.4 vs -0.1). Meanwhile, some sectors showed improvement, particularly construction (-2.8 vs -4.7) and retail trade (-1.3 vs -2.1), while sentiment strengthened in wholesale (2.5 vs 1.4) and financial and insurance activities (26.8 vs 25.1).
