The number of building permits issued in Serbia rose 10.8% year-on-year to 2,948 in December 2025, after a 3.1% drop in the previous month. Of the total, 83.4% were for buildings and 16.6% for civil engineering projects. Within the buildings category, 83.7% of permits were for residential construction and 16.3% for non-residential projects.
