8 January 2026, 13:53  France: Forex Reserves Rise Further.

France’s official reserve assets rose to a new record high of €362.74 billion in December 2025, from €359.39 billion in November. This represents a rise of €3.35 billion amid increases in gold reserves (€287.48 billion vs €282.85 billion in November) and other reserve assets (€6.49 billion vs €6.40 billion). Meanwhile, decreases were observed in claims on the IMF (€38.41 billion vs €38.86 billion) and foreign currency reserves (€30.36 billion vs €31.28 billion). In December 2024, the reserves stood at €275.08 billion.
