Exports from Malaysia increased 10.4% year on year to a record high of MYR 153 billion in December 2025, accelerating from 7.0% growth in November and surpassing market forecasts of a 2.4% rise. The acceleration was mainly driven by manufactured goods, which rose 13.6%, led by strong shipments of electrical and electronic products, which surged 25.3%.
