Indonesia’s retail sales rose 6.3% year-on-year in November 2025, accelerating from 4.3% in the previous month and marking the seventh straight month of growth. It was also the fastest annual increase since March 2024, underscoring stronger consumer demand toward year-end as government support measures continued to bolster spending. On a monthly basis, retail activity increased 1.5%, steeper than a 0.6% gain in October and the strongest pace in eight months, highlighting resilient momentum in household consumption.
