4 December 2025, 17:48 Czech Republic: Inflation Slows to 7-Month Low.
The annual inflation rate in the Czech Republic eased to 2.1% in November 2025 from 2.5% in the previous month, according to preliminary estimates. This marked the lowest inflation rate since April and was below market expectations of 2.6%. Price growth slowed for food, alcohol, and tobacco (2.8% vs 3.9% in October), and goods (0.6% vs 1.3%). At the same time, energy costs fell further (-3.8% vs -3.3%). Meanwhile, services inflation held steady at 4.6%. On a monthly basis, consumer prices dropped 0.3% in November, reversing a 0.5% increase in the prior month and defying forecasts of a 0.1% rise.
