3 December 2025, 10:26  Europe: Markets Set for Higher Open.

European equity markets were poised for a higher open on Wednesday as global risk sentiment improved, supported by expectations of further US Federal Reserve interest rate cuts. Investors now turn to upcoming US jobs and inflation data for additional guidance on the monetary outlook. In Europe, attention also remained on high stakes US-Russia talks aimed at ending the war in Ukraine, though the latest round of negotiations produced no breakthrough. Moscow said the sides failed to reach a compromise on the core issue of territory. In premarket trading, Euro Stoxx 50 futures rose 0.3% and Stoxx 600 futures gained 0.2%.
