The Ibovespa gained over 1.6% to close at a fresh record of 161,092 on Tuesday, as stronger expectations of a Fed rate cut continued to underpin global equities, while markets assessed local corporate news. Trade sentiment improved after recent signals of better dialogue between Brazil and the United States and the easing of specific tariff risks, which supported exporters and agribusiness names. Vale (+0.8%) benefited from firmer production guidance that lifted the outlook for mineral revenues, while steady growth in domestic oil output continued to strengthen the earnings profile of energy producers.
