Argentina’s Consumer Confidence Index fell 1.1% month-over-month to 45.5 in December 2025, marking the first decline since September. Both current conditions and future expectations weakened. The current conditions index dropped 1.70% from November, while future expectations decreased 0.66%. Among sub-indices, durable goods and real estate fell 3.38%, the macroeconomic situation declined 0.53%, and the personal situation edged up 0.03%. Regionally, Buenos Aires city posted the largest monthly increase, at 21.01%, while Greater Buenos Aires recorded a 2.49% decline. By income level, confidence was unchanged among high-income households but fell 4.47% among low-income households. On a year-on-year basis, the index declined 1.04% from December 2024.
