The annual inflation rate in Estonia slowed to 4.6% in October 2025 from 5.2% in the previous month. This marked the lowest reading since May, mainly due to softer price increases for food and non-alcoholic beverages (6.3% vs 7.7% in September), household goods (1.9% vs 2.5%), and communication (1.2% vs 2.6%). Additionally, costs declined further for clothing and footwear (-6.9% vs -4.5%). On the other hand, inflation increased alcoholic beverages and tobacco (6.2% vs 5.4%), while it remained steady for health (at 10.6%) and education (at 1.1%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices stalled in October, after a 1.1% drop in the preceding period.
