The annual inflation rate in Luxembourg stood at 2.7% in October 2025, unchanged from the previous month and remaining at its highest level since March 2024. Price increases were observed in housing and utilities (6.5% vs 6.1% in September), furnishings, household equipment and maintenance (0.6% vs 0.4%), clothing and footwear (1.2% vs 0.6%), recreation and culture (4.0% vs 3.3%), and miscellaneous goods and services (1.9% vs 1.8%). These rises were partly offset by slower price growth in food and non-alcoholic beverages (2.3% vs 2.5%) and transport (1.7% vs 2.1%), as well as a sharper decline in communication costs (-2.1% vs -1.7%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices decreased by 0.2% in October, following a 0.1% fall in September.
