4 November 2025, 17:13  Brazil: Ibovespa Slips After Record High on Mixed Earnings.

The Ibovespa edged below the flatline to hover near the 150,000 mark after yesterday’s record high, amid mixed corporate results. Embraer lost 1% after reporting an adjusted net profit of R$289.4 million in 3Q25, down 76.4% year-on-year. Also, Copasa fell more than 0.5% as its profit declined 2% to R$360.8 million. Also, Petrobras inched lower as oil prices fell after on a backdrop of ample oil supply, while Vale nearly 1% as iron ore futures extended losses for a third session on weak Chinese steel demand. On the upside, Banco do Brasil rose more than 2.5% after posting a managerial net profit of R$2.56 billion, its highest recurring quarterly result since its 2013 IPO. TIM gained 0.1% after reporting a 50% year-on-year increase in profit to R$1.2 billion, and Pague Menos advanced 1% after profit rose 49.6% to R$80.6 million.
