4 November 2025, 09:29 Euro Zone: European Markets Set for Lower Open.
European equities were poised to open lower on Tuesday, with regional benchmarks extending their pullback from record highs as investors booked profits after a strong rally in recent weeks. Weak US manufacturing data and uncertainty surrounding the Federal Reserve’s policy outlook also dampened sentiment. In Europe, attention turns to remarks from central bank officials, including ECB President Christine Lagarde, BOE Deputy Governor Sarah Breeden, and BdE Governor Jose Luis Escriva, who are scheduled to speak at various events today. On the earnings front, BP, Ferrari, and Telefonica are among the major companies set to report results. In premarket trade, Euro Stoxx 50 and Stoxx 600 futures slipped 0.4% and 0.3%, respectively.
