3 November 2025, 13:33  Turkey: Producer Inflation Hits 9-Month High.

Turkey’s annual producer inflation rose to 27% in October 2025 from 26.59% in September, marking the highest level since January. Inflation increased across all main sectors, namely mining and quarrying (31.79% vs. 28.73% in September), water supply (56.26% vs. 55.03%), electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning (24.31% vs. 23.81%), and manufacturing (26.91% vs. 26.93%). Among industrial groupings, price growth accelerated for durable consumer goods (33.07% vs. 31.62%) and water supply (56.26% vs. 55.03%), while energy inflation eased slightly to 25.05% from 25.17%. On a monthly basis, producer prices rose 1.63% in October, slowing from a 2.52% increase in the prior period.
