3 November 2025, 12:05 Italy: FTSE MIB Starts November Higher.
The FTSE MIB rose 0.5% to around 43,380 in early trading on Monday, marking its highest level in more than three weeks and starting November on a positive note. Utility provider A2A gained 5.9% after Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock to 'overweight' from 'equal weight' and raised its target price to €3.25 from €2.55. Energy giant Eni also added 0.9% after signing an agreement with Malaysia’s Petronas on a new oil and gas venture. Other notable movers included Stellantis (+1.9%), Bper Banca (+1.7%), and MFE (+2.9%). Offsetting some of the gains, shares of spirits group Campari fell 2.3% after Italian tax authorities seized $1.5 billion worth of shares from the company over alleged tax evasion.
