Australia’s Cotality Home Value Index rose 1.1% month-on-month in October 2025, following an upwardly revised 1.0% increase in September. This marks the fastest monthly pace of home price growth since June 2023, driven by recent interest rate cuts from the Reserve Bank of Australia and the expansion of the Federal Government’s First Home Buyer Guarantee scheme. All capital cities recorded gains for the month, ranging from 0.7% in Sydney and 0.9% in Melbourne to stronger rises of 1.4% in Adelaide, 1.6% in Brisbane, and 1.9% in Perth. On an annual basis, national home values climbed 5.7% in October.
