In China, the Shangai Composite Index gained 22 points or 0.6 percent on Monday. Gains were led by China Coal (5.9%), Inner Mongolia BaoTou Steel (5.1%) and Shaanxi Coal (4.6%). Biggest losers were China Molybdenum (-4.5%), SAIC Motor (-2.6%) and China Life Insurance (-2.3%).
