24 November 2025, 17:30 Latvia: Producer Inflation at 8-Month High.
Producer prices in Latvia increased by 1.7% year-on-year in October 2025, accelerating from a 1.4% rise in the previous month. This marked the highest rate since February, largely attributed to the higher costs in mining and quarrying (17.9% vs. 13.9% in September), and a rebound in electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning supply (0.7% vs. -3.6%). In contrast, price growth eased in manufacturing (1.4% vs. 1.9%) and in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities (4.3% vs. 6.2%). On a monthly basis, producer prices increased by 0.8% in October, following a 0.1% rise in September.
