Poland’s corporate sector rose by 6.6% year-on-year to PLN 8,865.12 in October 2025, easing from a 7.1% gain in September and falling short of market expectations of 7.3%. This marked the smallest increase since February 2021. Compared to the previous month, the average gross salary grew by 1.3%, mainly due to a larger scale of additional payments, including awards and bonuses, such as quarterly and incentive awards and bonuses, and service anniversary awards, as well as retirement severance pays. On a year-to-date basis, corporate sector wages advanced by 8.1%.
