Slovenia’s unemployment rate stood at 4.5% in September 2025, unchanged from the previous month. This remained the highest level since April, as the number of unemployed persons rose by 1,363 month-over-month to 45,670. The unemployment rate for women was 4.9%, higher than the 4.1% recorded for men. By age group, unemployment was 6.5% among those aged 15–29, 4.7% among those 50 and older, and 5.8% for those 55 and above. For comparison, the jobless rate was slightly lower at 4.4% in September of the previous year.
