20 November 2025, 10:32  Turkey: Consumer Confidence Improves in November.

Turkiye’s consumer confidence index rose to 85.0 in November 2025 from 83.6 in October, marking a 1.6% increase from a month earlier. This was the highest reading since June, with gains seen across most sub-indices. Households’ assessment of their current financial situation improved to 69.6 from 67.7, while expectations for their financial situation over the next twelve months increased to 85.7 from 84.2. Consumers also reported a slightly better outlook for the general economic situation over the next year, with the index rising to 79.6 from 78.6. Meanwhile, the index measuring spending on durable goods over the coming twelve months edged up to 105.0 from 104.0, indicating stronger purchasing intentions. Still, the overall index remained below the 100 threshold, indicating that consumer sentiment remained in pessimistic territory.
