18 November 2025, 21:22  France: CAC 40 Tumbles for 4th Session.

Paris’s CAC 40 fell 1.9% to close at 7,968, marking a fourth straight decline as investors trimmed risk ahead of Nvidia's quarterly results on Wednesday and the restart of major US macro releases including the September jobs report after the government shutdown. Automakers led the slide with Stellantis down 4.5% and Renault down 3.8% while mega cap luxury names and banks underperformed with LVMH, Hermes, BNP Paribas, Credit Agricole, and Societe Generale losing between 2% and 2.9%. Credit Agricole unveiled a strategic plan to 2028 that targets 60 million customers, nearly 60% of revenue generated abroad and more than €8.5 billion in net income attributable to shareholders by 2028, a framework that could influence investor positioning in the days ahead.
