18 November 2025, 14:32 USA: U.S. Futures Lower.
US stock futures pared some losses but remained lower on Tuesday, with contracts on the three major averages down around 0.3%, putting the S&P 500 and Dow Jones on track for a fourth consecutive session of declines. Traders remained in a risk-off mood amid renewed concerns over high valuations in AI and tech stocks, ahead of Nvidia’s earnings report, scheduled for release after the market close tomorrow. Nvidia shares were down about 1% in premarket trading. Investors are also watching the resumption of key economic releases that were delayed by the government shutdown, including the US jobs report due Thursday, amid worries that the data could discourage the Fed from further cutting interest rates. Meanwhile, the latest Labor Department data showed initial jobless claims at 232K for the week ended October 18, while continuing claims reached 1.957 million, the highest level since August. Home Depot fell 1.7% after cutting its full-year profit forecast and missing earnings expectations.
