In China, the Shangai Composite Index dropped 31 points or 0.8 percent on Tuesday. Losses were led by China Molybdenum (-4.2%), Hengli Petrochemical (-4.1%) and Aluminum Corporation of China (-3.85%). Offsetting the fall, top gainers were China Fortune (10%), Inner Mongolia Yili Industrial Group (3%) and Huatai Securities (2.4%).
