Brazil’s IBC-Br economic activity index fell 0.2% in September 2025 from the previous month, after a 0.4% rise in August. Industry contracted 0.7%, services slipped 0.1%, and taxes fell 0.6%, while the agriculture and livestock sector grew 1.5%. The IBC-Br excluding agriculture declined 0.4%. Compared with a year earlier, overall activity increased 2%.
