14 November 2025, 14:04  Poland: Inflation Rate Confirmed at Over 1-Year Low.

Poland’s annual inflation rate edged down to 2.8% in October 2025 from 2.9% in the previous month, matching preliminary estimates. It marked the lowest level since June 2024, as prices increased at a softer pace for food and non-alcoholic beverages (3.4% vs 4.2%), recreation and culture (2.0% vs 2.5%), education (6.2% vs 6.8%), and other goods and services (0.8% vs 2.0%). In addition, deflation deepened for furnishings, household equipment, and routine household maintenance (-1.1% vs -0.9%) and clothing and footwear (-1.1% vs -0.8%). On the other hand, prices edged higher for housing and utilities (4.2% vs 4.1%), alcoholic beverages and tobacco (7.0% vs 6.8%), and restaurants and hotels (5.5% vs 5.4%). Moreover, deflation softened for transport (-2.3% vs -3.8%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose 0.1% in October, following a flat reading in September and confirming the preliminary estimates.
