14 November 2025, 14:03 Croatia: Inflation Hits 5-Month Low.
The annual inflation rate in Croatia eased to a five-month low of 3.6% in October 2025 from 4.2% in the previous month, confirming the preliminary estimate. Price growth slowed across most components, namely food and non-alcoholic beverages (4.4% vs 5.7% in September), housing and utilities (8.4% vs 8.8%), miscellaneous goods and services (3.7% vs 4.5%), furnishings, household equipment and maintenance (0.1% vs 0.2%), recreation and culture (3.0% vs 3.2%), restaurants and hotels (6.9% vs 7.0%), and alcoholic beverages and tobacco (4.5% vs 5.3%). Price declines were also recorded in transport (-1.1% vs -0.8%), clothing and footwear (-2.2% vs 0%), and education (-1.5% vs -1.0%). On a monthly basis, consumer prices went up by 0.6% in October, slightly higher than the initial estimate of a 0.5% rise and following a 0.4% increase in September.
