New car sales in Brazil rose 7.2% in October 2025 from the prior month to 260.7 thousand units. Passenger car sales increased 8% to 192.8 thousand units, light commercial vehicles grew 4.5% to 55.3 thousand, and sales of trucks and buses rose 8.8% and 0.8% to 10.7 thousand and 1,970 units, respectively. Among brands, the top performers were FCA (40,576 units), Volkswagen (35,305), and Hyundai Motor (23,987).
