In contrast, Terna fell 0.9% after posting weaker-than-expected results. Azimut Holdings plunged nearly 10% after the Bank of Italy flagged serious governance and organizational flaws at its subsidiary, deeming it unfit for major operations. Poste Italiane slipped 1% despite strong quarterly results.
