Brazil’s car production rose 1.8% in October 2025 from the previous month to 247.8 thousand units. Output of passenger cars increased 0.9% to 184.8 thousand units, light commercial vehicles grew 7% to 50.6 thousand, and truck production edged up 0.5% to 10.2 thousand. In contrast, bus production dropped 23.4% to 2,134 units. Year-on-year, total vehicle output fell 0.5%.
