13 November 2025, 14:44  India: Sensex Ends Almost Muted.

India's BSE Sensex closed virtually unchanged at 84,478.7 in a choppy session on Thursday, hovering around two-week highs, as profit-booking emerged after a four-day rally ahead of Bihar's state election results. Positive sentiment was buoyed by Trump signing a short-term funding bill to end the US government shutdown, hopes of tariff relief for India and easing domestic inflation, which was outweighed by foreign fund outflows. Asian Paints, ICICI Bank, PowerGrid, Larsen & Toubro, Bajaj Finserv and Bharti Airtel were among the top performers, with gains between 0.7% and 3.7%.
