Slovakia’s construction output climbed 19% year-on-year in September 2025, following a 12.1% increase in the previous month. This marked the largest growth since January 2018, as most indices posted significant increases. Output rose in domestic construction (16.4% vs 7.9% in August), new construction activity (15.9% vs 7.8%), repairs and maintenance (14.8% vs 11.4%), building construction (16.2% vs 9.4%), and engineering construction (16.7% vs 4.8%). Meanwhile, growth moderated for construction abroad (41.2% vs 49.4%).
