10 November 2025, 16:10  Greece: Industrial Output Rebounds Sharply in September.

Industrial production in Greece surged by 6.8% year-on-year in September 2025, marking the strongest increase since July 2024, after a revised 2.8% decline in the prior month. This ended two consecutive months of decline, with output rebounding sharply in manufacturing, up 7.6% compared with -0.8% in August, led by basic pharmaceutical products, pharmaceutical preparations, and computers, electronic, and optical products. Electricity production also climbed, rising 5.3% after an 8.9% drop in the previous month. At the same time, production increased for mining & quarrying (2.5% vs 2.6%), partly offsetting the decline in water supply (-3% vs -6.8%). On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose by 4.6% in September, rebounding from a 4.1% drop in August.
