9 October 2025, 10:16 Lithuania: Producer Prices Decline at a Slower Pace.
Producer prices in Lithuania fell by 0.8% year-on-year in September 2025, easing from a 1.8% drop in the previous month. This marked the softest decline in producer prices since February, driven by an ease in deflation for manufacturing (-0.1% vs -1.7% in August), particularly in refined petroleum products (-2.6% vs -11.1%). At the same time, price growth moderated for mining and quarrying (3.9% vs 4.9%), while costs declined further for electricity, gas, steam, and air-conditioning (-7.4% vs -3.9%). Meanwhile, prices for water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities rose by 1.6% after remaining flat in August. On a monthly basis, producer prices decreased by 0.1% in September, slowing from a 0.5% fall in the preceding period.
