Indonesia's consumer confidence dropped to 115.0 in September 2025, down from 117.2 in August, marking the lowest reading since April 2022. Five of the six main sub-indices weakened: the economic outlook (down 2.0 points to 127.2), job availability compared to six months ago (down 1.2 points to 92.0), perceptions of current economic conditions (down 2.4 points to 102.7), current income levels (down 4.0 points to 112.9), and income expectations for the next six months (down 2.4 points to 134.3). Additionally, the index for purchasing durable goods compared to six months ago also declined, falling 1.9 points to 103.2. However, an increase was seen in expectations for job availability over the next six months, which rose 0.3 points to 123.1.
