Taiwan’s foreign exchange reserves rose to USD 602.94 billion in September 2025, from USD 597.43billion in the previous month. The increase was influenced by returns from foreign exchange reserves management, exchange rate movements of other reserve currencies against the USD, and interventions by the central bank to smooth volatile capital flows and maintain an orderly foreign exchange market. For comparison, reserves stood at USD 577.93 billion in September 2024.
